Our 50-year business journey is a testament to our steadfast commitment to the people of theCommonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands. Pacifica Insurance Underwriters, Inc. (PIUI) started with a shared vision by our founders to help the CNMI grow economically by way of insurance and to provide investment options to protect and safeguard financial wealth. The vision, foresight, and entrepreneurship that changed lives forever is why we are dedicating our 50th Anniversary, our Golden Jubilee, to the founders of our company.

When opening our doors 50 years ago, the CNMI was in its infancy of economic development, and under the Trust Territory, the future of our islands was well underway towards unprecedented growth and development. And having been with PIUI for roughly forty years, and throughout my direct involvement with this industry, I have witnessed firsthand the countless undertakings by all stakeholders who worked in unison to ensure that rules and regulations were in place to protect the wellbeing of the general public and for insurance companies to succeed in their mission to provide reliable insurance services. The 50 years of experience under our belt came with extraordinary challenges that would have otherwise tested our vigor but through which strengthened our resolve to continue serving the insurance needs of our community.

We are extremely proud to be able to trace back our roots to the Marianas where we proudly served hundreds of our fellow community members and businesses who sought financial protection. Our company is blessed to have had great people who chose PIUI to learn the trade and further their careers. Equally at best, this milestone would not have been possible without our trusted partners who believed in us.
